Sunset from an airplane

I don't ever remember being lucky enough to have seen a sunset from above the clouds, but I got to last week.

When we got on our connecting flight from Baltimore to Fort Myers, I insisted we sit on the right side of the plane. Although my son did not want to give up the window seat, he was amiable enough to move the hell out of my way while I took hundreds of pictures of the sun setting.

Here are a few that I'm incredibly fond of.

If I haven't warned you enough in advance, this blog has gone into picture mode. I literally took over 500 pictures, over 300 of them made the cut. Now I'm editing them day by day. I'm only on the second day and I haven't even uploaded the video of the air boat ride, yet.

Yeah, you have that to look forward to!

You are so lucky!

I had a pic like this of the sunrise above Oregon when I flew to Sacramento once.

But I ripped up the pic and deleted it from my comp because it reminded me of why I was flying there that time.

To break off an engagement. Blah!
