You know you live on a busy road when the Ice Cream Truck is willing to pull into your driveway.
My son and nieces were willing to cross the busy road to a side street, but the driver was more than happy to try keep them safe. I ran upstairs to grab my camera, and when I came outside everyone had some ice cream, and were happy to have their pictures taken. Or at least they didn't grumble too much. Of course, I got pics of the kids that I won't show here, but I wish I could. Even the driver got in on it! What a nice guy!

And if there was an accident, may there's still some medial equipment in the rehabbed ambulance there.
Sweet! One of the few things I miss about living in the suburbs is the sound of the Ice Cream Truck coming down the street.
I'm with Scope...definitely a double duty van. In my time, the ice cream guy was on a converted three-wheel motor scooter.
The popsickle man! The popsickle man! I see they still sell red, white, and blue bombpops...my favorite! :)
That is every kid's dream come true. My nephew would weep tears of joy if the ice cream truck pulled into the driveway.
I might shed a tear or two as well, honestly. ;-)
You brought back some fond memories with this post. I'll write about it tomorrow!
What a nice guy!
Saw these last night on FB. Good stuff.
There's an ice cream truck that drives around our neighborhood from time to time...then I have "Chicken in the Straw" stuck in my head for WEEKS. Unfortunately, we've seen him come bombing down our street. Even if a kid WANTED ice cream they'd never get outside in time.
We never had the ice cream man, but we had the sno cone man, of all things.
I so wanted to be him
Very cool !!!!
